Never one to deny the power of running and the community, still he was overwhelmed by over a quarter of a million dollars raised for charities from the runners of the GVRAT. Food banks, anti-human trafficking, and animal shelters have received generous support from the GVRAT participants.

Innumerable stories of the participants finding a path through life in the face of the pandemic; death of loved ones, job losses, emotional issues from different levels of isolation.

Laz finds that running allows you to process life:

Laz has returned to live events under the applicable restrictions as the community and the striving of performance truly gets his blood moving. He shares some of his preparations for the Barkley Fall Classic, being held this weekend.
